THE GOAL

Assign values to each of the six letters A through F so as to satisfy all clues.

THE RULES

Each letter A–F must be assigned a different integer from 1 to 10.
Every letter must be assigned — even those that don't appear in any clue.
The solution must satisfy all clues simultaneously and the rules stated above.
Each puzzle has exactly one correct solution.

GAME MODES

In CASUAL mode, your rating is never affected — play freely.
In RATED mode, your rating updates after every puzzle, win or loss.

EXPECTED SOLVE TIME

Each puzzle has an expected solve time based on its rating relative to yours.
A puzzle rated equal to you has a baseline time. A harder puzzle (higher rating) gives you more time; an easier one (lower rating) gives you less.
Finishing faster than expected raises your rating. Finishing slower lowers it.

MISTAKES & PENALTIES

Each incorrect CHECK adds a time penalty to your effective solve time — counted against you even if you finish quickly.
Three mistakes triggers an automatic forfeit, which counts as a loss regardless of progress.
Giving up in RATED mode always counts as a loss.

RATING UNCERTAINTY (±RD)

Your rating starts at 1000 ± 350. The ±RD reflects how confident the system is in your rating.
±RD shrinks as you play more rated puzzles, making each result have less impact.
During inactivity, ±RD slowly rises — the system becomes less certain, and results carry more weight again.

DIFFICULTY

EASY Rating 800–1000. Solvable through a sequence of single-clue deductions.

MEDIUM Rating 1001–1350. Some steps require combining two or more clues.

HARD Rating 1351–1700. Several multi-clue deduction chains required.

EXPERT Rating 1701+. Complex clue combinations and critical logical leaps throughout.
